Bournemouth's Alzheimer's Memory Walk

Nearly 2,000 people joined Team Rees (Caroline, Phil and myself) on Saturday in a charity walk in Bournemouth at the weekend to 'unite against dementia'.
Forty walks are taking place across the country and the initiative aims to raise £9 million and bring together more than 110,000 thousand walkers.  Dementia is now the UK's biggest killer, with someone developing the disease every three minutes.

The walk started and finished at Bournemouth Pier and we walked 8 km along the beautiful coast and cliff top.
It was a brilliant success and amongst the wonderful atmosphere we took a moment to reflect on who we were walking in memory of - Bill Rees (Phil's dad) who sadly suffered from Alzheimer's.

Thank you so much for all your generous donations.
