Chloe and Jamie came to stay and the first adventure was to Jakes Playbarn, just down the road. They had great fun on the giant three lane slide, ball pond, soft play area and mini football.
Early next morning we set off to Go Ape with a mixture of excitement and trepidation. It was a dry day but cold with blue sky. The Treetop Challenge + lived up to its name. It is not for the faint hearted. A great experience which definitely challenged them. Well done. Tree-mendous.
And we really loved our day out to Legoland. The rides are great. Flight of the Sky Lion and the Haunted Monster House are soooo good!
Caroline treated us to the reserve and ride passes, which I definitely recommend, otherwise I don't think we would have enjoyed ourselves half as much.
We enjoyed a picnic overlooking Mini Land with all the miniature cities from around the world - all amazing recreations.
An excellent day out Jamie and Chloe had the best time. We arrived when the park opened at 10 and stayed 'til closing at six making the most of every second!
Back home in Bournemouth Easter Sunday began bright and sunny. There's nothing quite like lunch in the sun. We were all in a good mood. Fancy a little tipple in the sunshine. Go on, you deserve it.
Caroline's garden was the perfect spot. A sunny cushioned seating area, lots of garden for the children to play, lots of easter eggs to find, delicious food, champagne, lamb and Chocolate Block. Perfect.
