"Little Brother" retires.

Last week my "little brother" retired after 46 years building aircraft in Hamble.

Retirement is a huge milestone and a great reason to celebrate.

And a truly amazing place for a celebration is Chewton Glen where Tina invited us to celebrate with them.
Fantastic location, glorious gardens, the service was excellent, the bubbles and wine a joy and the food was truly superb.  Such a beautiful sunny day too.
Have you noticed Alun's shirt matches the curtains!!!

After lunch the children and Stuart loved the immaculate croquet lawn and a short game really enhanced the afternoon.  Emmie lost a baby tooth whilst playing and "surprise, surprise" Alun found it so the tooth fairy could visit.

They also had a lot of fun with Uncle Stuart in the Tipi and loved their large party bags which contained Bug Hotels.

Thank you so much Stuart and Tina - it was a perfect and very memorable afternoon.

And what is Stuart going to do as he enters his life of leisure.

1.  Smash his alarm clock with a mallet

2.  Drink red wine

3.  Eat Pizza

4.  Sail with Phil (if not raining)

5.  Ski, Ski, Ski

Enjoy your retirement Stuart - you have certainly earned it.
